Expected DA/DR from Jul, 2025 – All-India CPI-IW for the month of Feb, 2025 issued by Labour Bureau on 01.04.2025
The All-India CPI-IW for February 2025 decreased by 0.4 points and stood at142.8 (one hundred forty two point eight). This consequent decrease in CPI-IW marks the expected DA/DR from July 2025 for Central Government Employees and Pensioners, with a small increase (56.68%) in the first month. The CPI-IW index for the remaining four months will provide the exact figure for DA/DR for July 2025, and the calculation process, along with expectations for the half-yearly increase in DA/DR, has commenced.
The order of increase in DA/DR from January 2025 has also been approved to be 55%, reflecting a 2 percent increase in the existing rate. The Order for increase in Dearness Allowance has been issued by DoE vide Order dated 02.04.2025. View Revision of rates of Dearness Allowance effective from 01.01.2025 @55% – 2% increase: DoE, FinMin O.M. The Order for increase in Dearness Relief will be issued by DoP&PW.
अखिल भारतीय CPI-IW फरवरी 2025 के लिए 0.4 अंक घटकर 142.8 (एक सौ बत्तालीस दशमलव आठ) पर आ गया। CPI-IW में यह घटाव केंद्रीय सरकार के कर्मचारियों और पेंशनरों के लिए जुलाई 2025 से अपेक्षित DA/DR को दर्शाता है, जिसमें पहले महीने में एक छोटी वृद्धि (56.68%) हुई है। शेष चार महीनों के लिए CPI-IW सूचकांक जुलाई 2025 के लिए DA/DR का सटीक आंकड़ा प्रदान करेगा, और DA/DR में अर्धवार्षिक वृद्धि की अपेक्षाओं के साथ गणना प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है।
जनवरी 2025 से DA/DR में वृद्धि का आदेश भी 55% के रूप में स्वीकृत किया गया है, जो मौजूदा दर में 2 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि को दर्शाता है। महंगाई भत्ते में वृद्धि का आदेश DoE द्वारा 02.04.2025 की तिथि वाले आदेश के माध्यम से जारी किया गया है। महंगाई राहत में वृद्धि का आदेश DoP&PW द्वारा जारी किया जाएगा।

Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (2016=100) – February, 2025
1. Labour Bureau, an attached office of the M/o Labour & Employment, has been compiling Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers every month on the basis of retail prices collected from 317 markets spread over 88 industrially important centres in the country. The index for the month of February, 2025 is being released in this press release.
2. The All-India CPI-IW for February, 2025 decreased by 0.4 point and stood at 142.8 (one hundred forty two point eight).
3. Year-on-year inflation for the month of February, 2025 stood at 2.59% as compared to 4.90% in February, 2024.
