Sub.: Promotions to Group ‘B’ posts on Indian Railways — Centralized Computer Based Test (CBT) for the posts of ACM and AEE – 30% LDCE (Special Drive).
Ref.: Board’s letter No. E(GP)2022/2/4 dated 04.10.2022.
Attention is invited to Board’s letter under reference whereby it was decided that an SAG officer and other staff, including RPF personnel as required by NAIR, may be deputed by the concerned Zones/PUs in each of the ‘Examination Centers’ where their candidates are appearing.
2. In this connection, NAIR has informed that approximately 3792 eligible candidates are appearing in the Centralized CBT of 30% LDCE (Special Drive) for the posts of ACM and AEE scheduled for 19.10.2024 and the exam will be held at 14 major cities in single shift (as per Annexure A enclosed). Further, it has been desired that for smooth conduct of examination, each Zonal Railway / PU may nominate one Nodal Officer (HAG/SAG), Town-in-charge (HOD / Dy. HOD) for each city, Centre-in-charge (SG/JAG) for each CBT centre; one Railway Observer (JAG/SS/JS) and one Railway Invigilator (Senior Supervisor) for every 100 candidates at each center and adequate number of RPF personnel at each centre.
3. Therefore, the Zones / PUs should ensure that adequate staff is deputed to the Examination Centers, as required by NAIR. The details of nominated officials may be furnished to NAIR in the proforma enclosed as Annexure B.
