Sub: Compendium of Instructions regarding grant of Transport Allowance at double the normal rates to persons with disabilities employed in Railways-regarding.
Reference is invited to Boardโs letter dated 22-02-2017 regarding grant of transport Allowance at double the normal rates for Railway employees on the basis of 7th Central Pay Commission recommendations. Now Ministry of Finance vide their OM dated 15-09-2022 has issued Compendium of instructions regarding grant of Transport Allowance at double the normal rates to persons with disabilities employed in Central Government. A copy thereof is sent herewith for information and compliance. These instructions shall apply mutatis-mutandis on the Railways also.
2. The railway Boardโs instructions corresponding to the MoFโs instructions referred to. in their aforesaid OM dated 15-09-2022 are given as under:-
