Sub: Wearing of uniform during duty timings – Reg
Commercial Staff being the frontline workers interact with public directly. It is mandatory to wear neat and prescribed uniform to boost the reputation of the Railways. All the field staff were given uniform allowance in this regard. However, it is observed during the inspections that the many staff were not wearing prescribed uniform.
In view of the above, it is once again re-iterated that all commercial staff should wear prescribed uniform while on duty, failing which, will be viewed seriously.
