Dear Sir,
Sub: Payment of Dearness Allowance/Dearness Relief w.e.f. 01.01.2020, 01.07.2020 and 01.01.2021 with the arrears
Ref.:(i) Secretary, National Council(JCM)’s letter No.NC-JCM-2021/CS/PM/(DA) dated 17.07.2021 followed by reminder dated 27.12.2021
(ii) NC-JCM Item No.NC-48/6/2021.
This issue of payment of Dearness Allowance / Dearness Relief, w.e.f 01.01.2020. 01.07.2020 and 01.01.2021, with the arrears, had been discussed in detail, and it was pointed out that the Hon’ble Supreme Court, vide judgment dated 08.02.2021 in Civil Appeal No 399 of 2021 (arising out of SLP(C) No 12553 of 2020), had decided that the Salaries and Pension constitute rightful entitlement of the employees and are payable in accordance with the law.
Legitimate payment of Dearness Allowance arrears for 18 months need to be considered sympathetically as all the Central Government Employees were on duty during the COVID-19 Pandemic and financial situation has also improved post COVID era, hence you are requested to take necessary action and issue necessary instructions for payment of arrears of Dearness Allowance for 18 months.

To avoid the burden of liquid cash payment to the Govt., an option for crediting the arrears in the GPF A/c of the Employees can be put forward while discussing the matter
18 months DA DR was freezed by PM Modiji in COVID 19 as everyone is aware pension and DADR is our right and govt can’t freezeit will the government stop salaries/pension and benefits of ministers foremost thing is ministers is volunteer service which they should not be paid but they stretch bend govt rules as they want on top of it they are curropted eating money on all projects they implement which degrees do they hold mostly we elect criminals as ministers secondly EVM machines are manuplated by the govt team and only one party wins how is this possible now the government should implement ballot papers for election in 2024 and Janta Janardhan should oppose EVM machines.18 months DA DR should be paid to all Govt employees and Pensioners immediately with 12% intrest Per annum without any delay in pension/salaries by this month end and no DADR be paid to ministers as they get every thing free they don’t even pay incometax only aam Aadmi pays tax PM modiji sochlo 2024 door nahi mehangai mahamari jobless youth agnipath GST Gas petrol CNG Diesel sab ki cost aasman chu Rahi hai minimum DA hike has to be 50% by now .

You are right sir. We the pensioners are facing lot of problems. We cannot beg or depending on childre. How the government realize this. A minister or M.P is getting a monthly salary of 1 to 2 lakhs a months, besides they have all subsidies. These so called unions and pension samajs are failed to portrait the problems of pensioners to the government stiffly.
What about OROP arrears when will all ex service men get this as government has disrespected HSC judgement of 16/03/22 to pay OROP arrears by 15/06/22 my questions are why only ex-servicemen pareshan PM modiji sais 200cr kept reserved where is the money and why not paid yet which date will we all get OROP arrears many fake videos misguide ex Serviceman on YouTube request the authority to Stop misguiding people and take action against such youtubers immediately
One thing that confused me is,does this apply only to the central service holders and not the state employees?
On the basis of Central Government all the State Governments will follow.
Central Government employees and pensioners would be grateful if DA arrears are disbursed on a priority basis. This is very much a need of an hour considering the ever increasing cost of living….
It’s good development post Covid era owing to enhancement of economic progress in the country. The proposal has genuine reasons with the contributions of CG employees during national medical emergency can be considered by GoI.
I don’t think that DA/DR arrears and discussions on this issue shall be fruitful. Decision of Govt in this regard already conveyed. Now it has become a subject of spreading illusion among employess and pensioners.
Be POSSITIVE.
Very good news
