Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities – Revised rates of commission: Railway Board Order

Sub:- Payment of commission charges by the State Governments and Ministries of the Government of India for the continuance of the Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities.
Sir,
I am directed to invite a reference to this Ministry’s endorsement No.2019/F(C)/22/1 dated 20/01/2021wherein the rates of commission charges for Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities, etc. were last revised. In view of steep hike in the staff cost in collection of these charges, the Ministry of Railways have decided to effect an increase in the existing rates of commission charges on Railway Warrants and Credit Note facilities, etc. as under:-

Zonal Railways are being advised to raise debits against the State Government/ Ministries etc. on the revised rates from 01/01/2022. Suitable instructions on the subject may please be issued to your Accounts Office to admit debits at the revised rates. A copy of the instruction issued in this regard by your Government may also be endorsed to this Ministry. These rates will remain in force for a period of one year or till the revised rates are communicated.

Copy to all Ministries of the Government of India with the request that they may also please issue necessary instructions to their Accounts Officers under advice to this Ministry to admit debits at the revised rates. For Military Warrants for individuals on Warrant IAFT-1752 for journeys by 2nd class other than those for the General reserved Engg. Force (Border Roads), 50% concessions of commission charges already in force would continue.
