Director General Recruitment Amendment Rules 2021 – V.V. Giri National Labour Institute

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st January, 2021

G.S.R. 49(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute (Director) Recruitment Rules, 2009 namely:-

1. Short title and Commencement:-

(1) These rules may be called the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute (Director General) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the V.V. Giri National Labour Institute (Director) Recruitment Rules, 2009 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 2, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

“2. Number of post, classification and level in pay matrix.-The number of said post, its classification and level in pay matrix relating thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the Schedule annexed to these rules.”;

3. In the said rules, in the Schedule,-

(a) in column (1), for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Director General.”;

(b) in column (4),-

(i) for the column heading, the column heading “Level in pay matrix” shall be substituted;
(ii) for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:- “Level 14 (Rs 144200-218200).”;

(c) in Column 12,-

(i) for the words, letters and figures “the pay scale of Rs. 37000-67000+Grade Pay of Rs. 8900”, the words, figures, letters and brackets “level 13A (Rs. 131100-216600) in the pay matrix” shall be substituted;

(ii) for the words, letters and figures “the pay scale of Rs. 37000-67000+Grade Pay of Rs. 8700”, the words, figures, brackets and letters “level 13(Rs. 123100-215900) in the pay matrix” shall be substituted.
