Sub: Relaxation in eligibility criteria under Joint Entrance Examination JEE(Main)-2021 for the academic year 2021-22 in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
In pursuance of letter No.F,No.37-2/2019.TS.III dated 21st January, 2021 from the Ministry of Education (Shiksha Mantralaya), Department of Higher Education, Govt. of India, it is informed that due to the extension for relaxation in the eligibility criteria under Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for the academic year 2021-2022, JEE(Main)-2021 qualified candidates will now only need a passing Certificate in Class XII Examination irrespective of the marks obtained.
The above relaxation shall be applicable for the academic year 2021-2022 only.
This may be read in the modification of the eligibility conditions given in the Information Bulletin of JEE(Main) Page No.20 under the heading “Eligibility for Admission to NITs, HITs and CFTIs” uploaded on the JEE(Main) website jeemain.nta.nic.in
