No. CSWB-12/198/2017-CSWB.—Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India has amended the Recruitment & Promotion Rules in respect of Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB), an autonomous organization w.e.f. 22.02.2017. Copies of the Recruitment & Promotion Rules are attached herewith.
ORDERED that a copy of the notification be communicated to all concerned. ORDERED also that the notification be published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette of India for general information.

RECRUITMENT RULES FOR THE POST : JOINT DIRECTOR

Note: By Deputation from officers of Central Government/Autonomous bodies under the Central Government: (a)- holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or – with 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39100+6600(GP) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and (b)Possessing qualification & experience prescribed as follows: Essential: Post Graduate in Public Administration/ Social Work/Economics/Rural Development/ MBA/PGDM from a recognized University or Institution with at least 5 years experience of administration and establishment matters with working knowledge of computers and related software. : Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years. : Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of application. |

7. | Age Limit for Direct recruits : | 35 years (as per DoPT guidelines) |
8. | Educational & other Qualifications required for Direct recruits : |
(1) Post Graduate in Public Administration/ Social Work/Rural Development/ MBA/ PGDM/Criminology from a recognized University or Institution. (2) Five years experience, out of which at least three years in a supervisory capacity in a Govt. Office/Autonomous bodies/PSU/Universities recognised by UGC in administration and programme implementation(Welfare Programmes) with working knowledge of computer and related softwares. |

Note:- The eligibility list for promotion shall be prepared with reference to the date of completion by the officers of the prescribed qualifying service in the respective grade/post. : By deputation from officers of Central Govt./State Govt./Autonomous bodies & Universities recognized by UGC:- (a)- holding analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or – with 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the pay band of Rs. 9300- 34800+XMR regular basis in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34800+4600(GP) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; and (b) Possessing qualification and experience prescribed as follows Essential: Post Graduate in Public Administration/Social Work/ Economics/ Rural Development/MBA/ PGDM from a recognized University or Institution with at least 5 years experience of administration and establishment matters. Desirable: Degree or Diploma in Social Work/ Sociology from a recognized University or Institution for candidates who have degree in subjects other than Social Work & Sociology. Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or other organization shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years. : Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of application. |
