Subject:- Payment of interest on delayed uploading of NPS contribution.
As per provision contained in DOE , Ministry of Financeโs Office Memorandum No:- 1(7)/2019/TA-III/12 dated 07/01/2020 stipulate that โ โThe NSDL shall identify from its records all such cases which are covered under the decision contained in DFS notification dated 31.01.2019 and pass on such employees wise details on its own to concerned Head of Office & DDO/PAO where the employee is currently postedโ.
It further stipulates that โthe data provided by NSDL is secondary โHOD/DDO/CDDO/PAO may reconcile the same with the data/records available with them before preferring/ passing the bills for payment to trustee bankโ
It is therefore requested to reconcile the data/records available with your office/Pay Account Offices for identifying all such cases which are covered under the above Office Memorandumโs provisions for taking further necessary action on the same.
