CLARIFICATION: There is no restriction or ban on filling up of posts in Govt of India
Finance Ministry has clarified vide a tweet that no restriction or ban of filling up of posts in Govt. India. It is also stated that normal recruitments through govt agencies like Staff Selection Commission, UPSC, Railway Recruitment Board etc. will continue as usual.
Earlier the Finance Ministry was issued an Office Memorandum regarding “Creation of Posts and Administrative Expenditure: Finmin Order on Expenditure Management” and further the Finance Ministry comes up with this clarification that the Deptt of Expenditure Circular dated 04.09.2020 deals with internal procedure for creation of posts and not in anyway affect or crurtail recruitment.
