Director Technical Group A Post Recruitment Amendment Rules, 2020 – Ministry of Coal Nominated Authority

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 14th August, 2020
G.S.R. 504(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (6) of section 6 of the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Act, 2015 (11 of 2015), the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Ministry of Coal Nominated Authority – Director(Technical) Group ‘A’ Post Recruitment Rules, 2017, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement :—
(1) These rules may be called the Ministry of Coal Nominated Authority – Director (Technical) Group ‘A’ Post Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ministry of Coal Nominated Authority – Director (Technical) Group ‘A’ Post Recruitment Rules, 2017, in the Schedule, in column 11, for the entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:—
“Deputation (including short-term contract):
Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union territories or Recognised Research Institutions or Universities or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:
(A) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in level 12 of the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; or
(iii) with ten years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 11 of pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and
(B) possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:
Essential—
(i) Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering / Technology (Mining) from a recognised University; and
(ii) eleven years’ experience in coal industry in the Government sector.
Desirable—
Masters’ Degree in Engineering/Technology (Mining)/ Masters in Business Administration.
Note : Period of deputation (including short term contract) including period of deputation (including short term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not to exceed five years. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation (including short term contract) shall not be exceeding fifty-six years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.”
