Subject: Training & Development Policy 2019: Amendments thereto.
The following amendments have been approved by the competent authority in the Department’s Training & Development Policy 2019:-
1. Amendment No 3
Chapter 10: Para 10.2: Authorisation & Tenure
The authorisation and tenure of the faculty of training institutes has been decided. An amendment to this effect is enclosed as Amendment No. 3. The amendment may be inserted as Para 10.2 (i) & 10.2 (ii) under Para 10.2.
2. Amendment No 4
Chapter-3 (Jurisdiction of training institutes)
The existing jurisdiction of training institutes (Chapter-3 of the Training and Development Policy 2019) may be replaced with the enclosed Amendment No 4.
3. Amendment No 5
Chapter-3 Para 3.1:- Area of specialization of the training institutes:
The training institutes have been assigned their areas of specialization. Accordingly a new Para as 3 .1 as under may be inserted below Para3:

5. All offices/training institutes are advised to download the above amendments and update the contents of the Training & Development Policy 2019 accordingly.

TENURE:-
The faculty shall be positioned initially for one year and on the basis of their performance, the extension might be granted not exceeding three years at one point of time.In case the faculty so selected does not reflect the right type of aptitude or performance, he/she may be eased off this responsibility even earlier.
