PRESS NOTE
The Ministry of External Affairs has decided to inform the Passport holders about the expiry date of their passports. The passport holders will receive two text messages on their registered mobile numbers, 9 & 7 months before the expiry date.
Many passport holders forget to renew their passports on time. Majority of the countries allow passport holders who are having at least minimum validity of 6 months on their passports. So the Ministry has started this service to remind the passport holders to renew their passports on time.
