Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Staff and Conditions of Service) Amendment Regulations
EMPLOYEES’ STATE INSURANCE CORPORATION
New Delhi, the 11th December 2019
No. Z-12/12/31/Misc/11-Vig.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (1) of Section 97 read with clause (xxi) of sub-section (2) and sub-section (2-A) of that Section and sub-section (2) of Sectio.n 17 of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation hereby makes the following regulations, namely:—
1. (i) These Regulations may be called the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Staff and Conditions of Service) Amendment Regulations, 2018.
(ii) They shall come into force with immediate effect.
2. In the Regulation 8(1) of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Staff & Conditions of Service), Regulations, 1959, the following proviso shall be inserted at the end of the existing proviso under Section 8(1) of the Regulations:—
“Further, provided that in the matter of the pensioners of the ESIC, the consultation with UPSC as provided under proviso to Rule 9 of CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972 before passing of final orders shall not be applicable.”
