Railway Online Indenting and Recruitment Management System: CRB letter for priority for NTPC Graduate, Under graduate, Para-medical and Level 1 recruitment

My dear General Manager,

Sub:- Recruitment on the Railways against Direct Quota.

It has been decided to fill up vacancies on the Railways by induction of staff from the Open Market against various Direct Recruitment Quotas. This has to be done on priority, so that the Employment Notification and Recruitment Plan can be finalized expeditiously.

The following action may, therefore, be taken by you on priority basis:

(i) Work out the category-wise vacancy position as on 01.01.2019 for different departments. You may also work out the anticipated vacancies in the next two years i.e. upto 31.03.2021.

(ii) Your attention is drawn to the instructions issued by E(MPP) Directorate vide RBE dated 28.10.2016, 04.04.2018 &19.12.2018 by which the DRMs have been given powers to create posts on 1:1 basis. While working out the vacancy position, you may also identify such vacant posts which can be utilized to create posts in Safety categories as well as areas where workload has increased on account of new assets doubling electrification ect.

(iii) Indents to RRBs are placed through Online Indenting and Recruitment Management System (ORIMS). Action should be immediately taken to place indents in different categories duly working out the reservation break up i.e ST, SC, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and EWS categories as per policy. The ORIMS shall be opened from 11th February, 2019 onward. This work should be completed latest by 14th February 2019. It may be ensured that priority is given for the categories filled in through the NTPC Graduate, NTPC under Graduate, Para-Medical and Level 1, as Notification for this has to be issued within this month positively.
