COMMENTS
Do'nt expect anything from this govt . Empowered Cabinet Secy level committee was ignored . What chance another committee has of providing any relief . Looks like govt employees{who constitute major portion of India's famed middle class}, are considered really big fools by this govt . Politicians in power will soon find themselves wrong . Just watch forthcoming States' elections and then the Parliamentary elections in 2019
dear comrades govt is fooling employees again in the month of nov 15 they formed a committee to look in to the financial implications etc and approved what 7th pay commission recommended. now one more committee. BJP govt is not feeling central service employees are part of their government. fin minster was congratulating as if he has given big bonozaa to employees and media also gave a big hype through out the day. to raise minimum and pay and fitment factor, govt need 4 months time by MOS. this how bjp govt and unions are working. i request unions not to play with their own coleauges when u are in capable.
yes this another step fo make employees as fools when empowered commmittee did not done in faviour of employees only 7th commission report is implemented. I have not any hope from anohter committee this is only west of time and money.
What are they talking about? Which committee? 7th CPC report was already reviewed by a committee. Their recommendations were totally ignored. Every time when we put up a genuine issue they comeback with the same old answer to play with the time. They are neither serious nor sincere in their words or actions. Here, my suggestion is to hike the salaries & pensions of all staff below officers. Officers are adequately supplemented by this cpc. One can easily calculate the proportional hike in Officers salary. Please for God sake bring the gap to 1: 6 or maximum 1: 8 by hiking the salary of Other Ranks only. Bring the minimum salary to 24000 and accordingly change the fitment formula only for other ranks. So lower level which constitute 80% strength will be satisfied and at the same time Govt also will not be financially burdened to some extent. At present a meager Rs 2000 is going to hike the officers salary to 12 fold which equal to the total salary of the lowest paid soldiers. Everyone eats the same rice wheat & dal & there is no cheap dry or wet provisions for the low income groups or low salaried employees. This is totally irrational & not acceptable.

this is another step to make employees as fools. government and unions are playing with employees. after 7th pay recommendations to study the demands of the unions, government formed an empowered committee. no body is asking what the empowered committee has done till 19th of June and what they have recommended? Government should disclose how much money was spent on the empowered committee? because with the tax payers money they just playing, unions are also nodding their head to what ever government says. no body is asking what empowered committee has suggested and simply agreeing for setting up of another committee to discuss the demands of the unions. how many committees will government form and how long unions will postpone their strike. this is just cheap delayed tactics played by the government and unions and this should be discouraged. when MPs want to increase their salary and pension they never think about economy, inflation, financial burden and they will approve within days, when it comes to employees only all the technical terms they use and try to delay. if the economic condition of the country is really down first all MPs should reduce their salaries and pension and then convince the employees. since their are elected democratic way they should be model to the public. unions are part of the employees and should not accept this kind of cheap tricks played by the government.
Is this an assurance/statement or a news reporting the Ministry of finance? Nowhere, it mentions Government obligations towards setting up a committee. It merely mentions a fact that in the amuk meeting, the ministers assured that issues raised would be 'considered' by a high level committee. Which committee, when will it be constituted, and what will be its terms of reference is unknown. Govt. may even not refer the matter to that committee
