Sub: Recruitment Rules of AAOs – Regarding.
Sir,
I am directed to refer to your letter No. AICAEA/HQ/A-2/2015/2134 dated 22.09.2015 on the subject cited above and to furnish herewith point-wise reply to the clarification sought by you as under:-

| (i) | Pay scale and grade pay of Supervisor (Accounts) | PB-2:9300-34800, GP Rs.4800/- |
| (ii) | Number of posts likely to be earmarked as Supervisor (Accounts) |
3% of total of sanctioned strength AAOs 2028 x 3% (61) for the year 2015 |
| (iii) | Procedure under which the posts shall be distributed Ministry/Department wise and station wise |
It will be operated for the service as a whole |
| (iv) | Status and responsibilities of Supervisor (Accounts) | Same as assigned to AAOs in IA&AD & DAD |
| (v) | Whether Supervisor (Accounts) shall be given the facilities that are available for AAOs |
Same as AAOs |
| (vi) | Whether the existing condition of age bar of 53 years shall continue as one of the eligibility conditions for promotion |
The existing condition of age bar of 53 years will be removed |
| (vii) | Whether the Sr. Accountants who have already been promoted to AAO against 10% promotion quota shall be re-designated/reverted as Supervisor(Accounts) |

| (viii) | Whether the employees from other departments who have been included laterally in the cadre and accommodated as AAOs simply on the ground that they were drawing the Grade Pay Rs.4800/- in their parent department and who are not AAO(C) passed official, shall be re-designated/reverted as Supervisor (Accounts). |
No. They will not be re-designated/reverted to the post of Supervisor (Accounts) as his will infringe their terms of absorption. |
| (ix) | Amendments in the Recruitment Rules of different relevant cadres. |
Separate RRs for Supervisor (Accounts) and AAO will be notified |
