As a person retired from Central Government service after rendering more than 37 years of service and witnessed IIIrd, IVth, Vth and VIth Pay Commission, I feel that the revised pay will not be more than 2.6 times of existing basic pay as detailed below : Basic Pay – .100, DA – .120 % (anticipating another 7 % DA as on 1.7.2015) and 40 % fitment benefit on existing basic pay – 100 + 120 + 40 = 260.
