Process of getting digital life certificate issued for Pensioners
Step 1 : Pensioner needs to have In Aadhaar number fer getting digital Life certificate issued.
Step 2 : Pensioner needs to enrol and biometrically authenticate himself/herself using one of the following methods

| Jeevan Pramaan Digital Life Certificate |
a) Download application prepared for generating digital life Certificate from jeevanpramaan.gov.in on any Android Tabiet/Smartphone or Windows PC. Procure a low cost finger print scanner/iris scanner from the market and plug it on USB port of the Tablet/Smartphone/Pc. Using the above application, Pensioner will be able to enrol and bio-metrically authenticate in real time from the comfort of their homes by giving his/her Aadhaar number and other details related.to their pension bank account.
b) Pensioner can visit a nearby CSC center, Bank Branch or any Government office whose details are provided under ‘locate center” on jeevanpramaan.gov.in and bio-metrically authenticate in real time by giving his/her Aadhaar number and other pension details related to their pension bank account.
c) if the pensioner is already enrolled on the system, next time he gives his Aadhaar number, he would only be required to authenticate his bio-metric for updating date of his digital life certificate.
Step 3 : After successful submission of digital life Certificate. pensioner will be sent a sms on his/her mobile giving the transaction id, Pensioner will be able to download computer generated life certificate from jeevanpramaangovin using this transaction id tor their records.
Step 4: Bank Branch can be informed about submission of your digital life certificate in one oi the following ways
a) Bank can login on jeevanparmaan.gov.in and can search manually for Pensioner’s life certificate either by giving Aadhaat number, Bank Account number or Transaction.
b) Core Banking Systems of Banks will be able to automatically download life certificate details from the digital life registration repository and update life status in Pensioners bank account.
c) Pensioner’s digital life certificate can be sent to respective branch of the Bank by sending an email or forwarding the link through sms to download life certificate from the website.
Reminders through sms will be sent to the pensioners enrolled on jeevanpramaan.gov.in for timely submission of their digital life certificates.

I am a pensioner from Balasore State Bank Branch.I got my Jeevan Pramaan Patra .On 6th July I went to Bank Branch. The Officers refused to accept the Pramaan Patra because they only want that certificate in the month of November. So let me know the easy way to get the pramaan Patra from my own PC . I am a pensioner from Mumbai at present staying in DENVER, USA with my son due to old age. My pension is deposited in my account in Union Bank of India, Malad West, Mumbai. I donot have a Adhaar Card made. How do I prepare digital life certificate and send to my bank in Mumbai.
Many times Govt does one kind of system , the thieves have some loop holes and the damage takes place. Better our old system continues. The.The SBI bank is lazy bank and they do not want to work now since the computerized system ins introduced by RBI . All madness things are happening. Although RBI wants top get the system uptaded but they will never succeed as thre are many uneducated people i India and the system will never work in India,
too complicated and useless no proper application of mind done more complicated for normal comuter knowing person should be simple process
I Sanjoy Bandyopadhyay had received massages on 30.4.2015 and again on 11.5 2015 from DM NICSMS for submitting the digital life certificate and for linking my aadhar card no. . on receipt massages from above auothority I visited on 06.05.2015 my S.B.I from where I draw my pension ,there I had submitted my AAdhar crard for seeding with my pension account and also the authority had intimated me that Digital Life Certificate in the month of November 2015.Moreover the telephone no.as you had noted in your S M S appears not a valid one. Please help me how I can contact with your Dept. Please mention the postal address for further correspondance . please help me how and when the proforma for Digital Life Certificate will be upladed. I am quite anxious after receivin g the above three S M S
Thank you for publishing my comment in your valuable circular. I hope your deptt. will please look into the points as raised by me. As huge number of retired employees are not aware of the present system , I think the process may be modified to the easiest way , so that every one can submit their digital life certificate himself otherwise they have to spend a lumsome for submitting same with the help of others.
IF DOWNLOADING SOFTWARES IS LENGTHY IT IS OF NO USE FOR MOST SR.CITIZENS. IT MUST BE IN EASY PROCESS BECAUSE NOW A DAYS MOSTLY EVERY ONE IS HAVING COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE. MY OPINION IS IT MUST BE THAT MUCH EASY LIKE AADHAR LINK TO DRIVING LICENCE, VOTER CARD, CAR RC. I AM IN CANADA WITH CHILDREN ON VISIT FOR TIME PASS I HAVE LINKED AADHAR NO.TO ALL DOCUMENTS AND GOT PRINTED COPIES ALSO. IN OUR E-PAPER EENADU IT WAS CLEARLY EXPLAINED. NOT ONLY MYSELF HELPED SOME OTHER ALSO. I REQUET THE PROCESS MAY BE MODIFIED TO THE EXTENT EASY.
The life certificate can be prepared for any State Govt. retired employes and receiving pension through Treasury/Bank also and the proceedure is the same. It appears the download of softwares may be lenngty process.
