Subject: – Status Report of Cadre Review of Group ‘A’ Central Services
To increase transparency and-also to make information regarding cadre review readily available, it has been decided to upload the status of cadre review proposals of Group‘A’ Central Services as on the last working day of every month, on the website of DoPT.
2. For the month of September 2014, the status report as on 12th September, 2014 is enclosed. This will be followed by another status report as on 30th September, 2014. Thereafter, the status will be updated on monthly basis.

| 1. | Indian Civil Accounts | CRC meeting held on July 17, 2013. Recommendation of Service CRC approved by MOS (PP), referred to DoE on 21.8.2013 for taking approval of Cabinet. In view of observation of PMO and Cabinet Secretariat on the CPSMS post, DoE sought comments of DoPT. Comments of DoPT after holding meeting on 26.08.2014 have been conveyed to DoE. |
| 2. | Railway Protection Force | CRC meeting held on July 29, 2013. Decision with the approval of MOS (PP) and FM has been communicated to the Ministry of Railways for taking Cabinet approval. |
| 3. | Indian Naval Material Management Service | The CRC meeting held on 24 October, 2013. Approval of MOS (PP) and FM has been conveyed to Ministry of Defence on 4th March 2014 for taking Cabinet approval. |
| 4. | Indian Ordnance Factory Service | CRC meeting held on 19.03.2014. Approval of Mo8 (PP) and FM has been conveyed to Ministry of Defence on 24″‘ June 2014 for taking Cabinet approval. |

| 9. | Indian P&T Acctt. and Fin. Service | Note for CRC sent to Cabinet Sectt. on 06.03.2014. Cabinet Sectt. has requested for revised CRC Note in the light of directions of CAT Hyderabad bench . A meeting was held on 11.07.2014. Record note of discussions along with other representations has been sent to DoT for comments which are awaited. |

| 11. | Central Water Engineering Service | Based on the query of DoE regarding the cadre strength and the issue of creation of posts in autonomous bodies MOWR has been requested to clarify certain issues. It has been informed that the revised proposal would be submitted. |
| 12. | Central Engineering Service (Roads) | The Proposal was received on 24.04.2014 but lacked many essential information and therefore clarifications were sought from MoRTH, Reply has been received on 16.08.2014 and a meeting was held on 4th Sept 2014. MORTH has been requested to provide certain additional information. |
| 13. | Indian Railways Personnel Service | A presentation was given by Ministry of Railways on 09.04.2014.Queries have been raised on some points and clarifications have been sought from DoE also especially on the issue of creation of work charge posts. The clarification from DoE is awaited. A draft proposal in one case has been submitted for taking a policy decision regarding the work. charge posts and the General posts. Ministry of Railways has been requested to provide certain additional information. |
