Subject: Amendment of Regulation 18 of Pension Regulation for Army Part-II [2008].
A copy of Government of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. 1(9)2012-D(Pen/ Pol) dated 14th November,2013 on the above subject is forwarded herewith for information and necessary action which is self explanatory.
2. Consequent upon issue of Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence letter No. 1(9)2012-D(Pen/Pol) dated 14th November,2013 the facilities of Pending Enquiry Award (PEA) are extended to all invalidment (Attributable/ aggravated)/ War casualty cases also instead of only to personnel suffering from Pulmonary TB/ Leprosy.
3. In view of the above Govt. order, it is requested that the cases/ claims covered under this Govt. Letter may be forwarded to this office O I/C G-3 Section’ for necessary action.
4. The provision of this circular shall be effective from the date of issue of this Govt. Letter i.e. 14th November, 2013.
5. This circular has been uploaded on this office website www.pcdapension.nic.in.
6. Please acknowledge receipt.

Sir, I would like to know that some trades were regrouped from 'B' to 'X' group as long pending demand like Operator Cipher of Corps of Signals but the pensioners of pre-96 have not been awarded with the benefit with their pension.please clarify.
