Sub: CGHS facilities to CAPF personnel posted in CGHS covered cities outside Delhi- regarding
The undersigned is directed to refer to the Office Memorandum of even number dated 21.07.2011 and to state that this Ministry has been receiving representations from various CAPF organisations on the subject mentioned above. The issue has been examined in the Ministry and it is to clarify that all CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces) personnel posted in CGHS covered cities are eligible for CGHS facilities at par with other Central Government employees.

The facility of [one percent] enhanced rate of Interests on all Fixed Deposits etc., as giving to Ex-servicemen by the banks like SBI etc., should also be given to Ex-CAPF personnel. Similarly, retired CAPF personnel should also be allowed to compete under Ex-serviceman quota for the jobs in banks and other Govt., /PSU establishments at par with ESM.
The budget is round the corner, CAPF persons are not getting due recognition, they are serving at par defence persons in many many cases, but when it come to salary n allowances they are compared with central govt civil employees
Yes. The CAPF, EX-CAPF personnel should be given due weightage at par with defence personnel in all regards.
The Defence personnel are exempted from TOLL Tax, why its not being extended to CAPF persons as applicable in the case of Defence personnel
