LPG cap may increase 6 to 10 cylinder per year

Every one was waiting for announcement of enhancement of Dearness Allowance from the Cabinet Meeting but before enhancement in Dearness Allowance Govt. enhanced our yearly domestic budget expenditure by exceeding the diesel price and putting cap on subsidised LPG cylinder i.e. 6 cylinder per annum and onward on market rate.  

According to Govt expectations or suggestions every Govt employee family should be limited to minimum 4 members (2 for spouse + 2 children) means every government employee family should be consist minimum 4 to 6 members (with parentage).  In this situation only, every employee of 4-6 members family will required 1 cylinder monthly i.e. 11-12 cylinder yearly.  

Therefore, govt. cap on 6 cylinder is not favourable to any employees’ family particularly to our low salary earner non-gazetted employee group.  Delhi Govt has increased this cap to 3 cylinder for BPL family and as per news sources Central Government is also considering to increase from 6 cylinder cap to 10 cylinder cap.  But it is not clear that this increase will effect to all or particularly for BPL family let us wait for formal announcement. 

The govt. should be extend socio-economic protection policy in every area of life for their employees, as they are the true tax payer of this country.  In this connection govt should define any different policy to their employees such as 6 cylinder cap to be increased specially for Central Government Employee as per employee census/records available.  Our union leader may pay attention on this.
