why adhoc promotions for SOs in all main ministries? and AFHQ and not granting them grade pay of rs.5400/- immdtly on promotion – this only decreasing their long gained ability to work any further – clubbing mcap (rs.5400/-) and GP 5400/- after 04 yr service no logic – what the so called central govt assns and SOs of central sectt are doing about this – seems that old fight by the central govt employees and various unions lost somewhere -for vested interests

What is the promotion criteria for Stenos/PAs/PSs in Central Govt. Deptts.? If someone is selected for promotion and he/she declined to accept the promotion on some grounds, whether the next seniormost will be given promotion? Or the Deptt. will wait till he/she accept the promotion? It is seen that in some departments seniors are continuously declining to accept the promotion for years and juniors to them are to wait till they got promoted for promotion. If someone declined to promotion, they should be sidelined for the next three years and the next seniormost should be given promotion immediately.

Sir, I agree to this. Considering that these posts are very limited in all the Central Govt. Deptts., a serious view of the matter is urgently needed. Most of the Sr. Officers are not provided with PS/SPS/PPS according to their Ranks and entitlements and they are being compelled to manage by juniors or even with other category staff and as such promotion chances of bottom to middle end is dim. Hope the affected Deptts. will look into this and take necessary action.

Before constituting 7th pay commission. The Govt. needs to clear all the anomaly arise due to 6th pay commission. Though various issues were cleared in the 5th anomaly committee meeting. However, DOPT is still not issuing order to settle the anomaly between direct recruit and deptt. promotee. This issue needs to be cleared immediately without delay.
