Employees of Central Public Sector Enterprises are governed as per the provisions of Employees Pension Scheme, 1995 administered by Ministry of Labour& Employment. Further, DPE O.M. dated 26.11.2008 read with O.M. dated 02.04.2009 for 2007 pay revision w.e.f. 01.01.2007 in respect of executives and non-unionized supervisors of CPSEs following Industrial Dearness Allowances (IDA) pattern of pay scales, inter alia, provide for superannuation benefits to executives of CPSEs upto 30% of their basic pay and DA. Superannuation benefits may also include pension. The superannuation benefits are dependent on various conditions, including affordability of the public enterprise. The details of pension scheme implemented by CPSEs are not maintained centrally in DPE.
