MANAGEMENT OF CASES OF INFERTILITY UNDER ECHS
1. Ref Central Org ECHS letter No B/49770/AG/ECHS/IVF dt 20 Feb 06 on the above mentioned subject (attached as annexure-l). As per Para 8 of this letter a maximum of three trials will be permitted for each case. A maximum of Rs. 20,000/- will be permitted per trial or the actual cost which ever is less. This will be inclusive of the cost of drugs used for the procedure.
2. CGHS has increased these rates from Rs. 20,000/- to Rs. 65,000/- per trial vide their OM No Z 15025/5/2011-CGHS111/CGHS(P) dt 22 Nov 11 (attached as annexure-II).
3. Keeping the above facts in view the rates/per trial for lVF will also be Rs.65,000/- for ECHS beneficiaries instead of Rs. 20,000/- with rest conditions same as mentioned in the policy letter under reference.
4. The new rates will be effective from. the date of this letter.
