CONSTITUTION OF 8th CENTRAL PAY COMMISSION
195 SHRI ANAND BHADAURIA:
Will the Minister of Finance be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has received representation from various quarters regarding constitution of 8th Central Pay Commission during the month of June, 2024;
(b) if so, the details thereof and the action taken thereon, representation-wise;
and
(c) the time by which the Government would constitute 8th Central Pay Commission for revision of pay/pension of Central Government employees in view of unprecedented inflation in the country?

(a) to (c): Two representations have been received for constitution of 8th Central Pay Commission in June, 2024. No such proposal is under consideration of the Government, at present.

क्या वित्त मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि:
(क) क्या सरकार को जून, 2024 माह के दौरान आठवें केन्द्रीय वेतन आयोग के गठन के संबंध में विभिन्न पक्षों से अभ्यावेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं;
(ख) यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी अभ्यावेदन-वार ब्यौरा क्या है और इस पर कया कार्रवाई की गई है; और
(ग). देश में अभूतपूर्व महंगाई को देखते हुए सरकार केन्द्रीय सरकार के कर्मचारियों के वेतन/पेंशन में संशोधन करने के लिए आठवें केन्द्रीय वेतन आयोग का गठन कब तक करेगी?

(क) से (ग): आठवें केंद्रीय वेतन आयोग का गठन करने के लिए जून, 2024 में दो अभ्यावेदन प्राप्त हुए हैं। वर्तमान में, ऐसा कोई प्रस्ताव सरकार के पास विचाराधीन नहीं है।
