Will the Minister of LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government proposes to introduce pension for the employees of EPFO covered organized sectors getting more than Rs. 15000/- as basic salary;
(b) if so, the details thereof along with the time by which the said scheme is likely to be started; and
(c) the details of the features of the said scheme along with benefits the pensioners are likely to get from the said scheme;
(d) whether there has been demand for higher pension on higher contributions among the members of EPFO; and
(e) if so, the details thereof along with the other measurers being taken by EPFO for the benefit of employees?

(a): No, Sir.
(b) & (c): Does not arise.
(d) & (e): The issue of granting higher pension under the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 1995 is sub-judice in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has taken various measures for the benefit of employees which, inter-alia, include online claim settlement, provision of e-nomination, settlement of pension claims on the date of retirement, and organising Pension Adalats.

क्या श्रम और रोजगार मंत्री यह बताने की कृपा करेंगे कि:
(क) क्या सरकार का ईपीएफओ के अन्तर्गत कवर किए गए संगठित क्षेत्र के उन कर्मचारियों, जो मूल वेतन के रूप में 15000/- रूपये से अधिक प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, के लिए पेंशन शुरू करने का विचार है;
(ख) यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है और उक्त योजना को कब तक शुरू किए जाने की संभावना है;
(ग) उक्त योजना से पेंशनभोगियों को मिलने वाले लाभों के साथ उक्त योजना की विशेषताओं का ब्यौरा क्या है;
(घ) क्या ईपीएफओ के सदस्यों में उच्च अंशदान पर उच्च पेंशन की मांग की गई है; और
(ड.). यदि हां, तो तत्संबंधी ब्यौरा क्या है और ईपीएफओ दवारा कर्मचारियों के लाभार्थ अन्य उपाय किए जा रहे हैं?

(ख) और (ग): प्रश्न नहीं उठता।
(घ) और (ड.): कर्मचारी पेंशन योजना, 1995 के अंतर्गत अधिक पेंशन देने का मामला भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय में विचाराधीन है।
कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (ईपीएफओ) ने कर्मचारियों के लाभ के लिए कई उपाय किए हैं, जिनमें अन्य बातों के साथ-साथ, ऑनलाइन दावे का निपटान, ई-नामांकन का प्रावधान, सेवानिवृत्ति की तारीख पर पेंशन दावों का निपटान और पेंशन अदालतों का आयोजन शामिल है।

Eps95..labour minister informed in paeliament that matter regarding higher pension to retired eps pensioners is subjudice. Mt question whether Govt will comply Court order removing cap of 15000/-or will not honor n go in for mercy appeal to president. As is seen govt mindset is negative n against workmen which is not a healthy thing.
When is next PF Adalat scheduled Epfo Dwarka. My pension Claim is not unsettled .

Can any retired MLA OR MP will be able to get daily bread and other expenses If, he will be granted Rs 2500 pm Epf pension?if not than why govt is not opening eyes for epf retired persons to increase our pension?
There should not be any difference between old and new retired person. Same procedure has been adopted in the retired army persons. Than why it should not be applicable for old retired epf pensioners?
Govt is giving Rs 1500 pension to Senior citizens who was not any employee or any contributor has been given by him or her. Whereas Epf Pension is being given to employees whose pension contributions have been deducted. It is not understood. AN MLA or MP can be given full pension after five years than why our pension can’t Increased? Supreme court must study this and government must increase EPF pension so that we can our daily bread please
जैसीकी आम चर्चा की जाती है कि karmchari pension स्कीम 1995 के अंतर्गत अभी की स्थिति में घोषित बेसिक सैलेरी 15000 को बढ़ा दिया जाय परंतु ऐसा करने से वर्तमान कार्यरत व अत्यधिक वेतन पानेवाले कर्मचारी ही लाभान्वित होंगे जोकि पूर्व में सेवानिवृत्त अल्प वेतन पाने वाले कर्मचारियों के साथ घोर अन्याय होगा।यदि आपको वयोवृद्ध सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को इस मंहगाई के युग मे जीवन यापन हेतु समय के अनुकूल पेंशन को बढ़ाने का विचार हो तो बेसिक सैलेरी स्लैब को बढ़ाने के बजाय अभी मिल रही पेंशन की धनराशि में समयानुकूल बढ़ोत्तरी कर मंहगाई भत्ता(वर्तमान सरकारी सेवा में कार्यरत कर्मचारियों की भांति डेय मंहगाई भत्ता)
भी दिया जाना सुनिश्चित कर दिया जाये तो सभी कर्मचारियों को इसका लाभ मिल सकेगा और वयोवृद्ध सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को जीवन यापन का सहारा हो सकेगा
Not a single government like to EPS improvement.
They want to do only for govt employees.
But now’ giving more to govt employees widen Rich & poor gap.
which government has to think.
