Sub: Regularization of absence period in case of suffering from COVID-19.
Ref: Railway Board Lr. No. E(G)2020/LE/2/1 dated 03.09.2020.
Railway Board had issued guidelines on the above subject matter. vide letter under reference No further guidelines have been received from Railway Board though it is learnt that Railway Board is contemplating to issue such guidelines
2. In view of the above following clarifications are provisionally issued to deal with the cases, till receipt of further clarification/order from Railway Board:
- Railway Board guidelines dated 03.09.2020 to be followed provisionally till further orders from Railway Board is issued.
- SCL ceiling for 2021 will start afresh after utilisation or otherwise of SCL of 2020.
- In case 30 days SCL is already availed, further absence on account of COVID to be regularised as Leave due (LAP/Commuted Leave/LHAP).
This has the approval of CPOQ(Admn)/ECoR/BBS
