Driver-cum-Mechanic Recruitment Amendment Rules 2020: Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage

G.S.R. 170 .- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution , the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage (Driver-cum-Mechanic) Recruitment Rules, 2011, namely : โ
1. (1) These rules may be called the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage (Driver-cum-Mechanic) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2020.
(2)They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage (Driver-cum-Mechanic) Recruitment Rules, 2011, in the Schedule,-
(a) in column (2), for the figure โ2011โ, the following figure shall be substituted , namely: โ โ2020โ;
(b) in column (11), under sub-heading โPromotionโ, for the words, โMessenger/ Cleanersโ, the words โMulti Tasking Staff (Sub-Offices) and Multi Tasking Staff (Head Quarter, Faridabad)โ shall be substituted ;
(c) in column (12), for the entries relating thereto, the following entries shall be substituted , namely: โ Departmental Promotion Committee (Group โCโ) (for considering promotion) consisting of:-
1. Joint Director, Directorate of Plant Protection , Quarantine and Storage โ Chairman;
2. Chief Administrative Officer, Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage โ Member ;
3. Under Secretary (Head Quarters), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage โ Member;
4. Deputy Director, Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage- Member.
Departmental Confirmation Committee (Group โCโ) (for considering confirmation) consisting of:-
1. Joint Director, Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage โ Chairman;
2. Chief Administrative Officer, Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and storage โ Member;
3. Under Secretary (Head Quarters), Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine Storage โ Member;
4. Deputy Director, Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage โ Member;
